ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent police to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner and her daughter from the respondents 2 to 4.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner attended enquiry at Panayapatti Police Station on21.07.2022 and while enquiry was going on the petitioner's husband Padmanapan and one Anbu assaulted her and the Inspector of Police also threatened her, hence she gave complaint to the first respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the complaint of the petitioner is still pending before the first respondent.

4. In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.07.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
