ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to shift the husband of the petitioner A.Thankanadan, S/o.Appavu (C.P.No.667825) aged about 69 years to KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum for further treatment to his ailments at the cost of the petitioner, who is now confined at Central Prison, Palayamkottai as convict prisoner based on her representation dated 16.06.2025.

2.Heard Mr.P.Sonu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Nambi Selvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 is under consideration and suitable orders will be passed within a period of one week.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
