This writ petition is filed directing the respondents to confirm the tender in favour of the petitioner in pursuance of the tender Notification dated 28.11.2016.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for further hearing, it is informed that the tender was confirmed in favour of a third party by name Thamarai Selvam and to that effect, an order is also issued on 30.12.2016.

3. When that being the position, the petitioner cannot maintain the present writ petition with the present relief. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.
