ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the defacto complainant in Crime No.17 of 2022, on the file of the first respondent police seeking expeditious filing of the charge sheet.

2. According to the learned Counsel for State of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, the charge sheet was laid through e-filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai, on 10.03.2024 and the same has not been taken on file.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it has been returned due to certain defects and no steps have been taken by the respondent police.

4. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to rectify the said defects and see that it is numbered within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
