This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue separate cut off marks for the persons studied graduation in Tamil Medium like the petitioner for interview for the post of Technical Assistant Engineer - Electrical of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to follow the G.O.Ms.No.145, dated 30.09.2010, issued by the first respondent for the current selection.

2. Heard, Mr.R.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.
3. Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.05.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
