O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to bring 1000 posts for Post Graduate Teachers and Head Masters in counselling, dated 19.05.2017, based on the budget declared in the year of 2017-2018 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.05.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
