This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the representations

dated 04.09.2015 and 14.12.2015 in the light of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.6299 of 2013, W.P.No.8449 of 2007, W.P.(MD)No.14585 of 2013 and W.P.(MD)No.18265 of 2014 and consequently to reimburse the medical expenses of Rs.23,200/- incurred by the Petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 3.The petitioner is an Assistant Professor, working in American College, Madurai. He is paying subscription under the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2012. As the petitioner is a bachelor, his parents are covered under the scheme and they are eligible for treatments/surgeries under the said scheme.

4.The petitioner's mother has undergone a surgery for removal of uterus on 18.07.2015 and the same is covered under the Insurance scheme. The petitioner has made a representation dated 04.09.2015 to the respondents for reimbursement of medical expenses to the tune of Rs.23,200/-, incurred by him towards the surgery and treatment. The first respondent wanted the petitioner to produce all original medical bills and the same were also produced. Even after one year, the claim of medical reimbursement is not settled by the respondents and that has driven the petitioner to file this Writ petition.

5.Having regard to the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2015 in the light of the Judgments passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.6299 of 2013, W.P.No.8449 of 2007, W.P.(MD)No.14585 of 2013 and W.P.(MD)No.18265 of 2014 and to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
