This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to grant permission for conducting a bike rally from Krishnan Temple, North Veli Street, Madurai to Yadava College, Madurai, which is scheduled to be held on 11.07.2023, by considering petitioner's representation, dated 24.05.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has submitted a representation on 24.05.2023, before the respondent seeking permission for conducting a bike rally on the eve of celebration of Freedom fighter Maveeram Alagu Muthukone. Since the same was not considered so far, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation that was made by the petitioner was rejected by the respondent on 29.06.2023, stating some reasons. 2/4
5.Let a copy of the rejection order be served upon the petitioner, so that he can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings. 6.In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
