ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the revision petition pending vide proceedings in Na.ka.No.39397/2014/G-2 dt.25.08.2014 on the file of the 1st Respondent office within a stipulated time that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, the respondents 2 and 3 have filed a revision before the first respondent/District Revenue Officer, Madurai, against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, in which, the petitioner herein is shown as the respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the revision has been filed in the year 2014, the first respondent did not pass any orders in the revision. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.

4.Since the revision petition is pending from the year 2014, the first respondent/District Revenue Officer, Madurai, is directed to pass orders in the pending Revision in Na.ka.No.39397/2014/G-2 dt.25.08.2014, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 2 and 3, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
