The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry pursuant to the enquiry notice, dated 18.05.2011 in Na.Ka.No.A6/1283/2011 relating to cancellation of patta in respect of Survey No.47/9 in Thillainayagapuram Village, Pattanamakathan Group, Ramanathapuram District, within a time frame. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Mr.R.Senthil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner would
submit that against the order passed by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner has preferred an appeal in the year 2011, but for the past six years, there is no progress. Hence, the present writ petition.
3.Heard Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Manickam, learned counsel for the respondents 4 and 5 and perused the materials available on record.
4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in the year 2011 purely on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order copy. No costs.
