ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members and also not to interfere with the petitioner's family dispute under the guise of enquiry.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the petitioner and defacto complainant/second respondent took place in the year 2019 and thereafter, due to misunderstanding they are living separately. Now, the defacto complainant filed a complaint before the second respondent alleging that at the instigation of the other accused the petitioner has demanded more dowry from the defacto complainant and also harassed her.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that based upon the compliant given by the third respondent, enquiry was conducted. During the course of enquiry, the third respondent herself has withdrawn the complaint filed against this petitioner and also the petitioner has gave a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.13863 of 2021 statement that he was ready to return a sum of Rs.4.80 lakhs on or before 15.06.2021. Based on the above said statement, the case came to be closed on 15.04.2021.

4.Since, the complaint has been closed, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
