Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to award 18 marks for internal paper UOCT (Subject & Tamil Learning) in B.Ed. degree to the petitioner (Reg.No.B13155071) in the light of proposal forwarded by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings No.KCEW-12802/Exam/34 dated 18.06.2015 and by considering the petitioners representation dated 15.05.2017 within the period that may be stipulated by this Honble Court.

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to award 18 marks for internal paper UOCT (Subject & Tamil Learning) in B.Ed.

degree to the petitioner (Reg.No.B13155071) in the light of proposal forwarded by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings No.KCEW-12802/Exam/34 dated 18.06.2015 and by considering the petitioners representation dated 15.05.2017

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned, if any, pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in the light of the proceedings forwarded by the 2nd respondent in No.KCEW-12802/Exam/34 dated 18.06.2015.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
