To commit and punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Honorable Court in W.P.(MD) No. 4683 of 2021 dated 05.03.2021 and pass such further or other orders as this Honorable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

Prayer in WP(MD). 4683/ 2021 :

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to settle interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the belated payment of petitioner's terminal benefits including Gratuity, Terminal Leave Salary, Provident Fund and Commuted Value of Pension from the date of his retirement to till the date on which the said benefits were settled to him.

SUB A(MD) No.271 of 2021 Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah, learned counsel takes notice for the petitioner/first contemnor and Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent/petitioner.

2. This Sub Application has been filed by the petitioner/ first contemnor seeking six months time for reporting compliance of the order passed by this Court.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner/first contemnor seeks four weeks time to comply with the order of this Court. 4.In view of the above, four weeks time is granted to comply with the order of this Court. However, it is made clear that in case, the petitioner/contemnors fail to comply with the order passed by this Court, a statutory notice will be issued against them on the next hearing date.
