The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents, to pay wages to sweepers those who were working under the Socio-Economic Reform Organization from 11.05.2016 to 11.05.2017 for cleaning works in the second respondent municipality as per the order of first respondent letter No.K.Dis(A3)Pdl.619/2016, dated 09.05.2016 in which the sweeper wages has been fixed for Rs.349 for each day, through that, the remaining amount nearly a sum of Rs.16,38,000/- (Sixteen Lacks thirty eight thousand only) has to pay our association by considering my representation, dated 04.04.2015 within the time frame.

2. Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.A.Kannan, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned, if any, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
