The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, in the nature of writ forbearing the respondents granting/permitting the second respondent from carrying or lifting the wooden box from the temple house to temple premises in the event of Sithaalai Arulmigu Sundaravalli Amman Kovil Kumbabishekam to be held on 05.06.2017 to 08.06.2017, until the final decision being taken in O.A.No.08 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments.
2. Mr.A.Muthu Karuppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.05.2017 on merits and in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
