Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 5 & 6 at Odai situated in Survey No. 241, Odaipatti, Uthampalayam Taluk, Theni District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents.
2. The writ petitioner is a resident of Odaipatti Village in Uthamapalayam Taluk. She alleges that in Survey No.241, the respondents 5 & 6 have committed encroachments and she wants them to be removed. Since her representation did not yield any response from the authorities, this writ petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader confirmed that Survey No.241 has been classified as "Odai". On written instructions from the Tahsildar, Uthamapalayam, the learned Additional Government Pleader states that survey of the said survey number will be undertaken. Notice will be issued to all the interested parties including R5 & R6. If the results of the survey indicate that there are encroachments, the same will be removed by adhering to due process of law. The encroachers will be given due opportunity before taking any coercive action. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
