Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission for conduct "Orchestra" and Melam by using lights and speakers on 24.01.2017 at evening in Kurumbalaperi Sri Pathrakaliamman Temple at Kulasekarapatti Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting Orchestra on 24.01.2017 in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 05.01.2017 the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, the following order can be passed.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Pavoorchatram Police Station, Tirunelveli District is directed to look into the representation dated 05.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of three days.
