Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents herein to survey the land comprised in Survey No.131/15A1B1 under Patta No.22991 situated at Thanakkankulam Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, and to demarcate the four boundaries, by considering the petitioner's application, dated 30.04.2025.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey the land comprised in Survey No.131/15A1B1 situated at Thanakkankulam Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, and to demarcate the four boundaries, by considering her application, dated 30.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the subject property situate in old Survey No.131/9, new Sub-division Survey No.131/15A1B1, was purchased by her under a registered sale deed, dated 11.09.1992. Patta for the said property was issued in the name of the petitioner vide Patta No.22991. The petitioner submitted an online application to the respondents on 30.04.2025, in Application No.2025/0123/24-014969, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence she has come before this Court.

3. The Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents, submits that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits.

4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner, dated 30.04.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, neighbouring land owners, and other interested parties.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 23.06.2025 NCC :
