The Writ Petition is filed seeking to dispose the revision 1/5
filed by the Petitioner, dated 13.11.2024.
2.Mr..Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.One Jacob filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of Petitioner in respect of the property in S.Nos.62/5, 66/5 and 70/2 situated at T.Nelmudikkarai Group, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District. The said application was allowed by the Revenue Divisional Officer and patta issued in favour of the Petitioner was cancelled. Aggrieved by the said order, the Petitioner filed a revision before the respondent on 13.11.2024 and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore the Petitioner has come forwarded with this Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the revision filed by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/5
5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the revision filed by the Petitioner, dated 13.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner and one Jacob on whose application patta of the Petitioner was cancelled, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
