O R D E R

(Order of the court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN,J.) The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner's village to conduct the Jallikattu scheduled on 15.06.2017 at Kallukaranpatti Village, Valavampatti Post, Pudukkottai Taluk and District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2017.

2.Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final

disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.This Writ Petition is filed for granting permission to conduct Jallikattu. The Central Government, keeping in mind the seriousness shown by the people for holding Jallikattu in the State of Tamil Nadu, has passed an ordinance on 31.01.2017. Pursuant thereto, the State Government has enacted the law permitting Jallikattu all over the State of Tamil Nadu and the same has also been Gazetted on 31.01.2017.

5.In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2017 to grant permission forthwith to hold Jallikattu subject to usual conditions, that is being imposed. 6.With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
