Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the objection of the petitioner, dated 16.03.2017 for renewal of "C" form license in favour of the respondents 2 and 3 from 01.06.2017 in respect of the Sri Sathyabama Theater, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District while considering to renew the "C" form license within the time fixed by the this Court and reject the issuance of "C" form license. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the objection of the petitioner, dated 16.03.2017 for renewal of "C" form license in favour of the respondents 2 and 3 from 01.06.2017 in respect of the Sri Sathyabama Theater, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District while considering to renew the "C" form license within the time fixed by the this Court and reject the issuance of "C" form license.

2. Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the objection of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, first respondent is directed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to consider the objection of the petitioner, dated 16.03.2017, on merits and in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
