By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2020 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
3.It is contention of the petitioner that she was promoted as Sector Health Nurse and posted in Palliyadi Primary Health Centre, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. She had opted for posting in Thoothukudi District in view of a family situation inspite of which she was posted to Kanyakumari District. It is further contention of the petitioner that though she was posted at Kanyakumari District, she had not joined the duty till date. As her oral request for transfer had not been acted upon, she had sent a representation dated 21.10.2020. W.P.(MD)No.17284 of 2020 the respondent has not taken any steps to dispose of the same. Hence, without any other options, the petitioner approaches this Court by way of writ petition for appropriate orders. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would fairly submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court directs the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2020 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
