ORDER

The petitioner, seeking police protection, has submitted a representation to the respondent Police and also filed this writ petition.

2. The petitioner is running a hotel in the name of "Jeyaram Mess" at Thogamalai Weekly Market. While so, the 3rd respondent is causing trouble and preventing the petitioner from running the hotel. Therefore, he seeks police protection.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has entered into an agreement with the 3rd respondent for running a hotel in a temple land. The petitioner is neither the lessee nor the owner of the property, where, he is seeking police protection. Therefore, the request of the petitioner was rejected. 2/4
