PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to permit the petitioner to contunue his service as Panchayat Secretary in the 3rd respondent Cillage Panchayat. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the the 2nd respondent herein to permit the petitioner to continue his service as Panchayat Secretary in the 3rd respondent Village Panchayat.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1-3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.05.2017 by giving personal opportunity to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
