This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 15.06.2016, sent by the petitioner, for granting approval to the post of Headmaster of one Maruthappa Pandian for Veerama Munivar R.C. Higher Secondary School, Tenkasi within a time frame.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The case of the petitioner is that Veerama Munivar R.C. Higher Secondary School, Tenkasi is functioning under the control of the petitioner and the said school is a minority institution. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
One Maruthappa Pandian was appointed as Headmaster for the said school on 11.06.2013. Till date, his appointment was not approved by the respondent. On 15.06.2016, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to approve the appointment and the same was not considered. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned Government Advocate would submit that it is agreeable for the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks.
5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.06.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
