This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to bring the property which was attached by the third respondent by proceeding dated 31.10.2022 in Ni.Ma.No.7/2022-2023 to the public auction by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2025.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is a member of the second respondent society, namely, Alangulam Primary Agriculture Co-Operative Credit Society and that the former Vice President of the said Society, namely, Mr.Sankara Subramanian had caused loss of Rs.35,65,220/-. Therefore, the respondents should take steps to recover the amount from the said Mr.Sankara Subramanian.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents has produced a copy of the communication, dated 01.04.2024. It is submitted Page No. 2 of 5

that the action against the said Sankara Subramanian, former Vice President of the said society was dropped after a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- was paid. It is informed that the entire amount has been recovered and the last installment has been acknowledged in the aforesaid communication of the Sub Registrar of the said Society addressed to the second respondent.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
