[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the impugned order dated 28.04.2017 passed in Na.Ka.No.106/Kaa.Thu.Ka. Thi.Na.U/Thindu/2017 and quash the same and also for directing the respondents to give necessary permission and protection for conducting public meeting on the eve of freedom fighter Veeran Sundalingam's 247th birthday celebration on 04.06.2017 from 04.00 pm at Manikoondu, Main Road, Dindigul.

2.Considering the fact that the date mentioned in the petition has already become expired, the relief sought in the Writ Petition cannot be granted and therefore, this Writ Petition deserves to be dismissed.
