The petitioner, with a grievance that his candidature has not been considered for the post of Agniveer, has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus.

2. Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been selected as Agniveer and therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
