PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay pension to the petitioner under CCS (Pension) Rules 1972 in the light of the order passed in O.A.No. 310/00607/2022 dated 12.06.2023 and based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2026 within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

Learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the claim made by the petitioner was already considered and rejected by the respondents vide Speaking Order bearing Memo No.Acctt./OA/310/00607/2022, dated 21.01.2026.

2. In the light of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum against the order passed by the

respondents bearing Memo No.Acctt./OA/310/00607/2022, dated 21.01.2026 and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court bundle.
