PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein to allow the petitioners to continue to conduct the Ammasamy Pooja and Temple Thiruvizha during Adi Tamil month of 2022 i.e., August 2022 on the basis of the Peace Committee Meeting resolution dated 28.07.2021.

The writ petitioners filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to allow the petitioners to continue to conduct the Ammasamy Pooja and Temple Thiruvizha during Adi Tamil month of 2022 i.e., August 2022 on the basis of the Peace Committee Meeting resolution dated 28.07.2021.
2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that peace committee meeting was conducted on 28.07.2021 and in that meeting, they decided to subject to the result of the suit in O.S.No.182 of 2017, the third parties may jointly conduct the temple festival, subsequently, another peace committee meeting was held on 11.05.2022 and in that four groups of 2/4
people have not arrived amicable solution to conduct the temple festival and new administrators are not selected. Hence, they have not decided whether to conduct the temple festival or not. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they gave another application to the Tahsildar on 20.07.2022 for conducting peace committee meeting to permit the petitioners to conduct temple festival and seeking direction to issue the third respondent to conduct peace committee meeting.
5.Recording the same, the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 20.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
