: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Tutor in Pharmacy on the base of the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

*********** The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to promote her to the post of Tutor in Pharmacy, by considering her representation dated 12.01.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, after getting regularisation of her service as Pharmacist, on coming to know about the promotion with transfer to the post of Tutor with B.Pharmacy qualification, for which, she is having requisite qualification, she made a representation dated 12.01.2016 to the respondents. Since the same was not considered so far, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents are not in a position to ascertain the present status of the representation submitted by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.01.2016, if not considered earlier and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
