O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the first and second respondents not to permit the fifth and sixth respondents to perform worship in the petitioner's Kula Kovil Veedu in Natham S.No.815 Therukutheru Village, Second Karai, Therkutheru, Melur Taluk, Madurai District on 03.08.2019.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that already a Peace Committee Meeting has been conducted by the third respondent / Tahsildar, Melur. The Tahsildar has passed an order not to conduct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

any festival, till the disposal of the suit pending between the parties.

3.Considering the fact that already there is a civil dispute between the parties, and in the Peace Committee Meeting conducted by the Tahsildar, it was decided to conduct any festival till the disposal of the suit, at this stage the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. The Writ Petition stands dismissed accordingly, No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
