ORDER

Mr.S.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner had registered with the respondent for employment and her registration number is W/558/2000. During the year 2013, when the petitioner went for renewal, it was found that her name was not entered into the computer and she was given a new number as TND2013F00030273, which would amount to a fresh registration, by which the petitioner would loose her seniority. This aspect is also evident from the letter written by the respondent on 30.01.2014.

4. The petitioner is now seeking a direction, directing the respondent to give seniority to the petitioner on the basis of her old registration No.W/558/2000.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice also admits that it is the mistake of the respondent's office and

seniority of the petitioner will be retained as per her old seniority.

6. In view of the same, the respondent is directed to enter the name of the petitioner into the Computer as per her old seniority No.W/558/2000, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
