ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry on the 2nd respondent's objection dated 07.09.2015 and to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of S.No.99 measuring 43 cents and S.No.100/1 measuring 25 cents situated at Virahanoor Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai within a time limit fixed by this court.
2.Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.
3.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the first respondent for transfer of patta, after purchase of property. In the said application, enquiry was conducted by the first respondent/Tahsildar, Madurai North. Thereafter, the Tahsildar directed the the Deputy Tahsildar to conduct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
enquiry. In the enquiry, the petitioner and the second respondent have appeared and the 2nd respondent has also raised an objection on 07.09.2015. Despite the same, no order has been passed by the Tahsildar till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.
5.Since the enquiry has already been commenced, the first respondent/Tahsildar, Madurai South, is directed to conclude the enquiry and pass orders in the petitioner's application, after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondent No.2, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
