ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given against the petitioner's brother alleging cheating, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petition enquiry is pending in the case lodged against the petitioner's brother and only in order to enquire the petitioner with regard to the same, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11025 of 2019 was called for enquiry. He would further submit that the second respondent police has not harassed the petitioner and nor intent to harass him.

4. Recording the above said submission and considering the fact that no complaint is pending against the petitioner, the second respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
