The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to include the petitioner Deemed University Off Campus situated at PRIST School of Engineering & Technology, TrichyThanjavur Highway, Vallam, Thanjavur-613 403., PRIST School of Engineering & Technology, Paganur Village, Dindigul Main Road, Trichy-620 009., PRIST School of Engineering & Technology, Arasanoor Village, Madurai-Sivagangai-630 561, PRIST School of Engineering & Technology, Chennai Manamai Nallur Village, East Coast Road, ECR, Mahabalipuram, Kancheepuram District-603 102., under the Tamilnadu Engineering State Counselling list of colleges from the year 2017 by considering the petitioner representation dated 03.05.2017.
2.The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1&2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.05.2017 by giving personal opportunity on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
