Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's candidature for the post of Graduate Assistant under the priority category Viz., Inter Caste married couple.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's candidature for the post of Graduate Assistant under the priority category Viz., Inter Caste married couple.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by giving personal opportunity to the petitioner.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
