PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to construct the kalaiyarankam in other vacant land instead of survey No.55/2 and 55/3 to consider the petitioners representation dated 29.04.2017 within a time frame stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to construct the kalaiyarankam in other vacant land instead of survey No.55/2 and 55/3 to consider the petitioners representation dated 29.04.2017 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, by giving personal opportunity to the petitioner, dated 29.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
