ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti to complete the trial expeditiously in Cr.M.P.No.1641 of 2021 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a private complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti in Cr.M.P.No.1641 of 2021 and the same is pending from the year 2021, without any progress. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that in Cr.M.P.NO.1641 of 2021, the petitioner was treated as private compliant and the case was listed several times for recording his statment and the petitioner did not appear in some hearing.

4. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti on 17.07.2023 without fail and to give statement. If any failure is noticed on the side of the petitioner on that date, learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti may dismiss the petitioner's private complainant.

With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
