ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondents to measure the petitioner's land having an extent of 51.10 ares i.e. 1 acre and 26 cents in Survey No.48/4A in Patta No.2172 situated in Kovil Pappakudi Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District on considering petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2016. 2.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the second and third respondents on 08.08.2016 to survey his land and demarcate the boundaries and he has also paid necessary fees for the same. Sofar, no action has been taken by the second respondent.

3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.

4.Since the petitioner filed a application, dated 08.08.2016 along with necessary fee and that is pending, the second and third respondents are directed to conduct survey of petitioner's land in Survey No.48/4A in Patta No.2172 situated in Kovil Pappakudi Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District and pass orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as rival claimants, with reference to the revenue records and the petitioner's title deeds, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
