Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Mandamus directing the respondents herein to conduct a detailed enquiry in accordance with Circular 67 issued by the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai on the basis of the petitioner representation, dated 04.04.2016 and pass such other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondents herein to conduct a detailed enquiry in accordance with Circular 67 issued by the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai on the basis of the petitioner representation, dated 04.04.2016. The petitioner has given the said representation to cancel a sale deed. But, since no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for the relief as stated above.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2016, has already been considered by the first respondent and the first respondent passed an order dated 18.04.2016, stating that he has no power to cancel the sale deed unilaterally and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court for remedy.

3. Since the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2016 has already been considered by the first respondent, no further order is required in this writ petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the order of the first respondent, dated 18.04.2016, if she so desires. No costs.
