ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order passed in Na.Ka.No.Va3/3183/ 2016-2, dated 17.05.2017 and the subsequent impugned order of seniority in Na.Ka.No. Va3/ 3183/ 2016, dated 22.06.2018 and the consequential impugned panel for promotion tot he post of Deputy Block Development Officer for the year 2019-20 in Na.Ka.Va. 3/13863 / 2019, dated 05.07.2019 on the file of the respondent no.1 to place the petitioner above the respondent nos. 4 to 6 in the seniority in the post of Assistant as on 01.01.2016 and thus re-draw the panel for promotion to the post of Deputy Block Development Officer for the year 2019 - 20, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted before this Court that subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition, by proceeding, dated 20.08.2019, the first respondent viz., District Collector, Tuticorin, has passed an final order and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

3. In the light of the final order passed by the first respondent, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar // True Copy // Sub Assistant Registrar(CS ) 2/3
