PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2016 and to restore the petitioner's name in the revenue records bearing patta No. 1697, in respect of survey number bearing Number 259 / 2 to the extent of 12.00 acrs equal measurement to 0.30 cents at Pappakudi village - II, Cheramahadevi village, Tirunelveli District within a stipulated time. ORDER
The petition is filed for directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2016 and to restore the petitioner's name in the revenue records in patta No. 1697, in respect of survey Number 259 / 2 to the extent of 12.00 acrs equal measurement to 0.30 cents at Pappakudi village - II, Cheramahadevi village, Tirunelveli District within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the records.
3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.09.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. with the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
