ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Sanitary Supervisor in Public Health Section of Thirumangalam Municipality Madurai District by considering his representations. 2.According to the petitioner, his representation seeking promotion, has not been taken into consideration, despite the fact that the proceedings dated 16.03.1990 was placed before the Authorities for consideration, which was decided on the same lines. So, he is before this Court.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the grievance of the petitioner would be looked into on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and also as per the proceedings dated 16.03.1990 and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
