This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fifth respondent to take appropriate action pursuant to the seven days lock and seal notices issued in proceedings Na.Ka.No.A4/1355/2022 dated 16.03.2023 and Na.Ka.No.A2/2762/2021 dated 03.05.2023, in respect of the premises situated at Door No.3/42A, Thanumalayanputhoor, Nalloor Post, Eraviputhoor Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanniyakumari District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the ninth respondent has been running a sawmill near the petitioner's residence without obtaining any permission from the competent authorities, which has caused air pollution in the locality.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 3 to 8 would submit that, as on today, the said 3/6
premises is vacant, no encroachers are present, and no sawmill activities are being carried on therein. The said submission is recorded.
