O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the pensionary benefits of the petitioner for the service rendered by her in the fourth respondent's school for the period of 15 years 03 months and 22 days, with 18 percentage of interest.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to submit a fresh representation to the competent authority seeking reconsideration of her case and that the said authority may be directed to 2/5
consider and pass appropriate orders on such representation within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the competent authority within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such representation, the concerned authority, i.e., the fourth respondent, shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the same on its own merits.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
