ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to make sub division and to issue patta in the name of petitioner for her agricultural property in S.Nos.658/1, 2, 3 and 659/1 to 10, situated at Kappiliapatty Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.K.Rajmahendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is being disposed of at the admissions stage itself.
4.In order to subdivide the land and issue a separate patta at Survey Nos.658/1, 2, 3 and 659/1 to 10, situated at Kappiliapatty Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, the petitioner had made an online application to the first respondent office on 22.04.2019 and the same having been received by the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.17077 of 2019 respondent, who has given an acknowledgement also on that date. Therefore, the said application is still with the first respondent. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said application is decided on merits within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.
5.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said application of the petitioner on 22.04.2019 made to the first respondent would be decided on merits, within a time frame. 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner, dated 22.04.2019 and do the needful and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
7.With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
