Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the FIR has been registered in Crime No.217 of 2018 against one of the relatives of this petitioner. Therefore, the respondent police wanted to enquire the petitioner with regard to the pending case.

4.The petitioner shall be called for enquiry only after issuing summon to the petitioner and he shall not be harassed under the guise of enquiry.

5.This Criminal Original petition is dismissed with the above direction.
