O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.83 of 2019, on the file of the respondent Police within a stipulated time.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the crime was registered on 03.02.2019, so far no investigation has been conducted by the respondent police. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that, now the investigation is almost over and the respondent police will file a final report within a period of one month.

4. Recording the above said submission, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.83 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
