This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking quashment of the First Information Report in Crime No.57 of 2019, for the offences under Section 229A of IPC, on the file of 1st respondent.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate would submit that the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil has closed the First Information Report as barred by limitation.
